Awarded by Anglia Ruskin University, this Marketing and Innovation Masters programme is a 180 credit two-phase course comprising the Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Masters level awards. The course is designed to offer students without prior experience in Marketing, thereby, will get the necessary knowledge and skills they need to be operationally effective in a career in Marketing. For students with prior experience in Marketing, the course will develop their professional marketing competencies.
Course Content

Extended Diploma in Strategic Management

The Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management is an MA Advanced Entry course, which provides learners with 120 credits of the 180 credits required to achieve a complete MA in Marketing and Innovation. The course itself is made up of 30 interactive modules and 8 written assignments, with approximately 40 guided learning hours per module. All modules have an additional 30-50 learning hours of optional materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises.

The Extended Diploma in Strategic Management Course has 30 modules and 8 written assignments. On completion of the modules, students will be given access to the assignments. The assignments are approximately 3000-5000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor” section of the learning platform.

After completing the Extended Diploma in Strategic Management programme, students can continue to the top up programme of MA in Marketing and Innovation.

MA in Marketing and Innovation (Top up)

  •  02 Modules
  •  04 – 06 Months
  •  1 Term

At MA (Top up) level, students must complete 60 credits.

Term 1
Research Methods for Business Management – 15 credits
Postgraduate Major Project – 45 credits

Duration

ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management

To complete the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management, it will take 6-9 months.

MA in Marketing and Innovation (Top up)

After the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management, students will need to complete MA in Marketing and Innovation (Top up) programme, which will take 4-6 months.

You can complete the whole degree programme in 10-15 months.

Requirements

Entry Requirements to ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Management

  • A first degree in business, management or related subject
  • A level 6 qualification, for example ATHE level 6 Diploma in Management
  • Other equivalent international degree qualifications
  • If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence that you will be able to study at a degree level English. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550/213 or LIBT-EPT
  • Work experience of 5 years and above, along with a reference letter.

Entry Requirements to Master degree Top-up programmes

  • A level 7qualification, for example ATHE level 7 Extended Diploma in Management
  • Other equivalent international degree qualifications
  • If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence that you will be able to study at a degree level English. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550/213 or LIBT-EPT
  • Work experience of 5 years and above, along with a reference letter.
